He's parked in his driveway for a decade. SF just fined him $108 for doing it
- pavel_lishin 3y agoHe's been violating rules for a decade, taking up a significant part of the sidewalk with his car. It's hard to have a lot of pity here.
- foxyv 3y agoJust because you get away with it, doesn't make it legal. As many speeders find out. "I was just going with the flow of traffic!" As a person who has to constantly walk around parked cars on the sidewalk I hope they ticket these people every single day. I see people in wheelchairs stuck on the street dodging traffic because they can't even use the sidewalks with cars parked all over them.
- pavel_lishin 3y agoHonestly, Ring doorbells are what keep me from donating bricks to local families-in-need via the rear windshield.
- foxyv 3y agoI would recommend contacting your local police department in a less roundabout fashion. Often smaller municipalities base all their policing on citizen complaints. Especially if they are civil.
- pavel_lishin 3y agoYep, I've recently installed our town's app on my phone which apparently makes reporting easier - but the weather and scheduling hasn't been conducive to evening-time walks. I'll get around to it later, and eventually see people complaining about folks "not minding their own business" when they get a ticket.
