You're making unfounded assumptions about my sympathies. As I mentioned in other replies to this tree, my first comment was simply expressing my surprise to the top level comment. The top level comment said car prices will be affected so you'd better go shopping now. If it had expressed sympathy for people other than car consumers I might not have reacted that way. Either way, I don't think loss of life is equivalent to having to disappoint your customers due to price inflation, so I reject your suggestion that my sympathy is misplaced.
