I would love to use something like this but globally. I'm working on some parcel analyzer product for Poland. Perfectly I would like to use it in form of an API where I can pass coordinates in request and get response with pv potential metrics.
- data_emu 3y agoThe problem here is the availability of 3D building data - at https://github.com/OloOcki/awesome-citygml https://github.com/OloOcki/awesome-citygml is a list of all possible regions where we could extend our service in future, but that is still very limited parts of the earth. We are right now also open sourcing our shading simulation code of WebGL as an npm package, check out https://github.com/open-pv/simshady https://github.com/open-pv/simshady if that is interesting for you.
