It's incredibly rare that I can't read about it elsewhere or that I still care about the content if inconvenient. i.e. I don't even want to pay the effort to read it or subject myself to circumvention. Same with ad-block detectors: ok, bye. But if a specific site says they don't use (subjectively bad) ad networks and have user-respecting advertising, I'll disable the blocker for the site.
