Isn't it possible to just set the format of the cell to plain text ? Whoever works with genetic data in Excel should know how to do this, if correct.

- ivanche 3y agoWhenever a question contains "just", the answer is 99.9% "no".
- mttjj 3y agoCan't you just round up that statistic to 100%?
- LikesPwsh 3y agoFor your workaround you'd need to open the CSV in a text editor, set Excel types in a blank sheet, then paste. Not a problem for someone who understands the issue, but it is a slow/confusing way to open files. The real problem is the default behaviour of double-clicking a CSV in Explorer and destroying the contents.
