Wait, there is a show closer to the books? I want to see that!

I found the acting to be so wooden that I couldn't watch more than a couple of episodes.

I really liked it, the story kept me going but it's a slog at 30 one hour long episodes.

Watched the first episode of the Chinese version. Way closer to the books. Very slow, but it's also giving me the same feelings I got from the books. I really didn't like the strong hollywood feeling in the netflix one. Not saying is good though, 30 episodes for just the first book are too many
