Fisker Trading Suspended by NYSE
- Pseudocrat 3y agoI'm steeped in bias on this one, but overall this is not a surprise. The stock has been trading sub $1 for a while and there has been very little positive coverage of the company in recent months. The only deal they had in the works was speculated to be with Nissan and that fell through. Although a successful deal with Nissan would've made me even less optimistic after reading about their mandate to cut new build costs by 30%.

- alphabettsy 3y agoSeemed like a promising first EV, but seems maybe things were a bit premature. They needed to knock it out of the park.
- sdflhasjd 3y agoAnother SPAC bites the dust, why these aren't banned will remain a mystery...
- cguess 3y agoI honestly mistook it for the scissors company at first and was extremely confused.
- SebFender 3y agoYou just made my morning. Cheers.
- datavirtue 3y agoDo they have any IP they could sell to a company like GM that is struggling to hit production/quality goals? Or is Fiskar a scam?
- z3ncyberpunk 3y agoAlways was. Fisker got its start by stealing the original design for Tesla
- ProllyInfamous 3y ago...not really. The original Fisker "EV" was in fact a turbocharged 4-stroke which used "train locomotion"-style onboard direct-generation via ICE to electric drivetrain/propulsion. I have been passenger inside of one, and everything else about the vehicle (including "solar roof" ha ha ha) was an absolute afterthought (e.g. horrible ergonomics).
- DoesntMatter22 3y agoWhat's funny is the letter Fisker wrote to its employees to be on the lookout for MKBHD and avoid him. Probably better to make better cars than to stop people from reviewing them.
