Even so Apple shouldn't be able to use its position to disadvantage users. I believe being able to run whatever software you want on the hardware you buy is a basic right. If you want to forgo that, fine, but you should have the choice. The fact that they have a small market share is not relevant when they have many millions of users. This kind of thing leads to oligopolies that disadvantage consumers, which is what we have with phone app stores on Android and iPhone.
