That's one possibility, another one might be that it's easy to write "is buried" when you meant "was buried" and can be hard to catch the error.

- vidarh 3y agoWell, it's also the case that plenty of Christians don't believe in the resurrection. E.g from the UK: https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2017/04/10/quarter-christians-do-notbelieve-resurrection/ https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2017/04/10/quarter-christia...
- FrontierProject 3y agoThis was one of the foundational points of Gnosticism in early Christianity. It's worth noting that this position is considered heresy by most of the major established branches of Christian tradition.
- QuarterReptile 3y agoShow me a 'Christian' who doesn't believe in the resurrection, and I'll show you a non-Christian.
- vidarh 3y agoYou can very substantially discount measures of the importance of Christianity in most countries, then, as by that measure the number of Christians is massively overreported in censuses etc. and it's a dying religion. However fact still remains that a huge number of people who consider themselves Christian do not believe in the resurrection, and that in itself makes it entirely reasonable to word things that way whether you agree that those people are Christian or not.
