The operating system has been a draw for Chinese shoppers, and many of China’s biggest tech companies have made apps exclusively for it, further walling off users from platforms used outside China.”
- palata 3y agoI don't understand why Huawei did not go for its own deGoogled version of Android. Would be great to have an alternative outside of China that would not be controlled by Apple or Google.
- simonblack 3y agoWhy bother? When you have the biggest marketplace in the world, you don't need to cater for the fringe people.
