I think of myself as a decent programmer, not a 10x or some other superlative, but after reading the article and challenge i was like: „Let’s find the incr method and see how it works, take it as a base and work from there“ Is this not common, because some treat this here as some kind of „Eureka“ moment. My absolutely 1 minute trash try would be to run the incr k times, see if it works and optimize from there.
