Why do we put pfas in kleenex. Heck doing more digging makes me never want to buy Kleenex brand again, these could easily produced without such damage to the environment.
- al_borland 3y agoPFAS discussion aside (as I don't know if this is an industry wide issue), Puffs > Kleenex. I always blow right through Kleenex, Puffs is much better, specifically Puffs with lotion. If you're in the US, Kleenex is a trash product with a strong brand. I've seen some different Kleenex offerings in other parts of the world, so this could be different in other regions.
- eulgro 3y agoI just use handkerchiefs, good luck blowing through that. Good old cotton, no chemical shit, no waste, lasts for years.
- al_borland 3y agoMy dad tried to get me to use handkerchiefs when I was a kid. I had/have allergies and the volume I produced was too much for it. The idea of putting a cloth, wet with snot, back into my pocket to then use again was gross and didn't work. A handkerchief might be fine for a little bit due to cold weather, or to wipe your brow when it's hot out, but when things get bad, they really don't seem like a good option. I can go through an entire box of Puffs in a bad day.
- pachouli-please 3y agoTwo handkerchiefs
- chucksta 3y agoOh boy do I sympathize. Washing them is gross too.
