my wife absolutely loves them and would like to have one here, but i think the roots can be pretty troublesome for use in a residential yard.
- jondwillis 3y agoyes, they tend to out-compete and shade-out other plants. They're popular curbside in LA for that reason, though I worry about the topsoil quality and erosion without some cover plants.
