Pardon the tone but where is the "bleak"? I don't see anything that comes close to the dicey parts of Philadelphia (or any other major US city). I don't see anything that might parallel the local (Philadelphia) news. That's is, shootings and deaths from shooting day after day after day. Theft and robbery is also a reoccurring theme.
I'm not doubting NK sucks for a number of reasons. But the USA has plenty of issues as well (e.g., the incarcerated are paid slave labor rages).
- xenospn 3y agoYou can leave Philadelphia.
- chiefalchemist 3y agoIn theory. But then what? Go where? Wouldn't ppl leave if they could? So what does that tell us? Finally, if you're dead you're not going anywhere.
- xenospn 3y agoYou can’t leave DPRK even theoretically, so my point still stands.
- chiefalchemist 3y agoYou can leave DPRK the same way many leave PHL... In a body bag. So my point still stands. p.s. Try sounding less privileged and less in denial. It makes for better conversation. Mike Desmond's "Evicted" and "Poverty" would probably help you as well.
