In my opinion as a hiring manager and as someone who has taught courses leading to certifications, they are at best neutral and at worst an anti-signal.
They are basically corporate money grabs.
- BoorishBears 3y agoThey're an anti-signal for most of the best paying jobs Places that treat development like a cost center are more likely to have a hiring pipeline that values a certification. It's like you're pre-vetted in the lowest effort way, and that fits into how they operate.
