Biden maintains a conservative policy of not changing fossil markets too fast, while encouraging alternatives to grow to become a replacement. The administration could move more aggressively, and indeed it gets criticism at times for not doing so, but in exchange it avoids any major local inconveniences.
- deanputney 3y agoAs the article states, domestic oil does less environmental damage than foreign oil. That makes logical sense to me just on the transportation. Seems like a good step on the way to eco-friendly energy– and there will be many if we ever even get there.
