Just because something happens under a certain president's term does mean they were responsible for it or even did anything to encourage it.
Any increases in fossil fuel production under Biden seem to happen in spite of his policies; not because of them.
- avmich 3y agoBiden maintains a conservative policy of not changing fossil markets too fast, while encouraging alternatives to grow to become a replacement. The administration could move more aggressively, and indeed it gets criticism at times for not doing so, but in exchange it avoids any major local inconveniences.
- deanputney 3y agoAs the article states, domestic oil does less environmental damage than foreign oil. That makes logical sense to me just on the transportation. Seems like a good step on the way to eco-friendly energy– and there will be many if we ever even get there.
