The use of the wheelchair emoji for the slow "laydev" is a bit yikes.
Anyway, I tried the benchmark linked and on Firefox the "ninja style" was 12.26 % slower, not 4.2x faster like the article suggests.
- chilling 3y agoInteresting observation with Firefox. It probably comes from the fact that Mozilla use different JavaScript engine than V8 (SpiderMonkey). But thank you for the feedback - will update the post accordingly.
