the general idea of a fine is to discourage future infractions, not to destroy the company. fines don’t need to be existential in order to be effective.
- itopaloglu83 3y agoUnless the lying is systemic. Someone making a mistake in their coverage map would be okay, but if they are systemically adding false locations for any incentive money and hoping that they won’t be found out, then it should not just scratch their back but hurt enough to cause behavior change.
