Connecticut has some interesting food traditions: A peculiar style of hotdog in one part of the state that gets little attention. (All beef dog fried in bacon fat, bun tossed in bacon fat, served with bacon bits in the bottom of the bun, kraut, onion, mustard relish). Some rather great pizza. New Haven pizza might be one of the few reasons to go there. Better than NYC according to some, you can debate but what did Frank Sinatra really know. And the steamed cheese burger.
