I see your point, but I don't think those are the same thing. People don't go out seeking specific races of people to begin lives with them. We all go out seeking someone of our preferred sex. Pairing is a fundamental part of human behavior.
Also he didn't generalize all women, he disparaged the local culture. It's not like he told the dude to turn gay because women suck or something like that.
- standardUser 3y agoI simply can't comprehend the worldview of someone who would waste their time defending this. I feel the need to call it out because I have many female friends and have heard their views on these types of issues over the years, which compels me to speak out. Do you have many women in your life that you can talk to about these issues?
- friend_and_foe 3y agoYeah, my wife for one. I mentioned this to her yesterday actually. She thought it was funny. I think it helps to not default to outrage and then examine things critically and unemotionally. I'm not defending anything, just discussing details.
