Makes me wonder if there's even smaller building blocks of the universe. Smaller than Photons, Gluons, Neutrinos, Electrons, Quarks and we just can't 'zoom in'

Makes me wonder if there's even smaller building blocks of the universe. Smaller than Photons, Gluons, Neutrinos, Electrons, Quarks and we just can't 'zoom in' enough to know about them.

- catlifeonmars 3y agoDoes it matter, if they have no discernible difference or effect than our current “simpler” models?
- OscarCunningham 3y agoIf our 'fundamental' physics is actually emergent from a lower layer then we might expect that our laws are actually leaky abstractions. Very occasionally things at the lower level will happen in an unusual way that causes the laws of physics to be broken at our level.
