Robert Fripp Announces King Crimson Supergroup Beat
- Isamu 3y agoGood to hear, though you have to be pretty old to care.
- bonki 3y agoI am in my 30s and I care. I feel old enough already, no need to make it worse :|
- anta40 3y agoI'm in mid 30s and a KC fan. KC is like Zappa or Les Claypool, a bit of acquired taste.
- simlevesque 3y agoI moderate a KC community. There's a lot of young people who like them.
- needlesslygrim 3y agoI'm 17 and King Crimson is one of my favourite bands, and I know other people at school who like them so you'd probably be surprised.
- k12sosse 3y agoAdrian Belew is pretty awesome. If you're not familiar with his work, he worked alongside Carey and Fripp on Belews' album "side three". You may also not be aware of his work, but really just don't know: he played lead guitar on a couple tracks of THE DOWNWARD SPIRAL in studio sessions. Happy 30th anniversary, TDS. Effectively intimidated and threw off the touring band enough to get ousted by "Trent's bandmates" from the 2013 tour. - Gualdrapo 3y agoSaw somewhere else a comment saying something along the lines that although King Crimson is pretty much a creation from Fripp and you have to respect that he gave them his endorsement, his suggestion for the band's name ('Beat') is pretty unimaginative. 'Indiscipline' would've been way more cool.
