It's an enormous risk to build a new airplane, to convince airlines to take a risk on you and buy it, for them to train pilots on it, etc etc etc It's a small miracle Boom has gotten as far as they have. Boom is not competing with Concorde!! You can't buy Concorde tickets today! Concorde was never profitable!
