It doesn't matter if someone was forced into buying too many apple products or not. Governments have a responsibility to prevent Apple from abusing their market position and captive audience.
- kjkjadksj 3y agoIf governments truly had that mandate the world would look quite a bit different than today. The same american government allows boeing to be the one american jetliner manufacturer with all the problems that has created, for example.
- eigenspace 3y agoYes, antitrust laws have been largely ignored in most of the western world for decades now. I'd argue that's a bad thing though, not an argument in favour of continuing to ignore and not apply antitrust laws.
