- pmontra 3y agoI've been on vacation there some 15 years ago. Half of the population lived in cities half in the open spaces as herders. Two different worlds like nothing I saw before. I recommend going there. They told me that when herders loose too many animals and can't recover they have to move to cities. It's a complete change of life, doing city jobs and they were not liking it.
- namaria 3y agoEnormous amounts of animal biomass decomposing in the steppe does not bode well... Will there be an anthrax bloom this summer?
