- BugsJustFindMe 3y agoSure, but that premise leads to everyone doing nothing. Anything can get reversed at any time. We should still attempt to progress, yes?
- decafninja 3y agoThis goes back to the whole “shareholder value” thing. Is it better for shareholders if an automaker aims to comply with this versus hedge their bets that Trump will reverse it? FYI I’m playing devil’s advocate here.
- BugsJustFindMe 3y ago> This goes back to the whole “shareholder value” thing. Shareholder value is not the only thing there is. Corporate social responsibility is also a thing. They are sometimes seen to conflict, but they don't have to. https://archive.is/cGWM5#selection-2103.4-2103.376 https://archive.is/cGWM5#selection-2103.4-2103.376 (https://hbr.org/2002/03/the-virtue-matrix-calculating-the-return-on-corporate-responsibility https://hbr.org/2002/03/the-virtue-matrix-calculating-the-re...)
