I Used ChatGPT as a Reporting Assistant. It Didn't Go Well
- wolverine876 3y agoIMHO a powerful demonstration of the difference between serious journalism (and other fact-based content, such as scholarship) and Internet BS: ChatGPT seemed to do that latter, which was mostly inadequate for the former. People marvel at it, but is it more than Internet BS? Social-media level misinfo? The fact that so many are amazed by it raises another question: Why are we accepting that quality of information - with and without GPTs - especially when so much better is available?
