There were court documents implying he could get the death penalty and several plans to assassinate him. This is never happening.
- ryandrake 3y agoYea, even if he were freed, he’d have to have armed bodyguards forever, travel in the Popemobile wherever he went, never get on an airplane, and so on. Not a great way to live. It’s amazing how much misery the US is willing to put just one guy through, simply to dissuade others from releasing documents on the government’s bad behavior.
