Redis Inc. is moving the https://github.com/redis/redis/ https://github.com/redis/redis/ project away from the three part BSD license to a dual license using two non-OSI approved license. This comes after previous comment from them saying that "... the Redis core license, which is and will always be licensed under the 3-Clause- BSD". - rsstack 3y agoThanks to MBA CEOs taking over companies that adopted (not even developed) Open Source projects...
- reconditerose 3y agoYeah, https://redis.com/press/redis-ceo-succession/ https://redis.com/press/redis-ceo-succession/, seems to be the case here. It took them a little over a year to decide open-source isn't profitable and move away.
