I find autocorrupt has only gotten better over the years - it still picks some whacky choices sometimes, but far less often than it used to I have been running on iOS since 2011 (4GS), and have gotten a new one every 3 or four years (6S+, 11, 15 Pro Max) My replacement criteria is entirely tied to performance and call quality - I work off my phone, and it HAS to Just Work™ ... as soon as it does not, it is time to replace
