Consider making an Obsidian[^1] plugin, or writing to Obsidian-compatible Markdown files :)
I use Obsidian + Rollover Todos[^2] plugin with Cmd+Enter set to cycle through checkbox states for todos.

- replete 3y agoThis could be good, however it would need an amazing panel UI to do GUI management - text only isn't quite enough IMO. I tried hard to make task management in Obsidian a thing, and gave up, it just isn't good at it. Tasks, Checklists, all way too clumsy to rely on every day, at least for me
