- InitialLastName 3y agoThere were once 24 of them, and by definition they were old enough to be astronauts 52 years ago. [0] suggests that for a 36 year old now the median age of death is 76; I don't see a spread but it shouldn't be surprising to see 1/3 outlast that by 12 years.
