100% this. we had a contracting company and in the first year changed out our source control system because they didn't like it. We went from a mono-repo (which worked for us) to 50 separate repos because they couldn't figure out how to manage a mono-repo. They changed our daily work style, forced sprinting on us, and then had to backtrack when execs told them to change what they were doing. They still don't quite know how to manage us, but they are sure trying to force their ways of working on to us
