At this point the formal submission process is designed to filter out applicants. Author needs to find ways to get introduced to the hiring manager or have someone put his resume in the hiring manager's hands. He should also consider remixing the skills and accomplishments he has in his "box of LEGOs" and exploring other possible careers that would leverage his talents and experience.
