I can't believe that this person didn't have these doubts the whole time and just kept towing the party line because it was easy and popular. Now in their winter years, there's feeling of remorse. This sort of self serving reflection is nothing more than trying to have the cake and eat it too. Economic theorists have done so much damage to real people. They don't know what's going on and they don't act in good faith.
