Boeing Tells Airlines to Check 787 Cockpit Seats After Mishap on Latam Flight
- simonblack 3y agoA sliding seat does not cause a loss of the 'glass cockpit'. The Latam captain said all his instruments weren't displaying. In the Australian Sydney Morning Herald the pilot was reported to have said "I lost the ability to fly the plane" and reported the loss of his instruments.
- ericpauley 3y agoThis was hearsay from a passenger[1], and quite farfetched. In what world would a pilot, after a serious incident, leave the flight deck and start making comments like this to a passenger? Not impossible, but the story doesn't really line up.
