  You can either try meeting people where they're at and understand the issues they're having; or continue to try to shame them into getting thinner. Past ~30 years have shown us that the latter _very clearly_ doesn't work, but sure, a "dangerous cult".

    Surely there's something between shaming and acceptance. Neither are helpful, after all. The recent 'body positivity' movement just sends a message that it's _okay_ to be obese.
