Today almost nobody hires typists because information technology has advanced to the point that it is faster to do it yourself than have to communicate to another human. On a different point, I doubt that use of AI will be energy-bound any time soon (training is a different matter). Inference cost will drop dramatically as dedicated hardware comes online and algorithms continue to improve.
