Wow, this brings back so many memories. The sharp click of the carrom pieces hitting each other, the slightly deeper clack of them hitting the sides of the board, talcum powder to help them glide, and all the family members watching with bated breath as a player was about to shoot. We played in the days before air conditioning, when it was too hot to go outside, and there was no TV either. We would get little blood clots under our fingernails from striking too hard and have to reposition our fingers to account for it. Happy days...
