- FloatArtifact 3y agoHowever is there support cycle less than x86? Not only that there's a lot more fragmentation. Is there backward compatibility to run aprogram 6 years ago for an arm hardware that was released this year?
- almatabata 3y agoI might be missing some examples but the last breaking change i remember was the deprecation of the 32bit support: https://www.gsmarena.com/arm_will_drop_32bit_support_in_the_big_cortexa_cores_starting_in_2022-news-45688.php https://www.gsmarena.com/arm_will_drop_32bit_support_in_the_... I think ARM are clearly more comfortable breaking compatibility than Intel.
