That sounds like how you build a really strong business, not how you become a really rich executive.
I imagine society would be nearing utopia if your average upper management cared about building good businesses instead of getting unreasonably wealthy.
- dukeyukey 3y agoThing is, doing exactly that has built strong businesses with rich execs! Silicon Valley's penchant for giving employees equity (even if not quite the terms I described) has created the most dominant businesses the planet has, over the course of a mere 50 years, _and_ minted hundreds of thousands of new millionaires while it did it.
