It makes this go away and prevents their internal emails from being news stories for the length of the trial. No discovery, no testifying for execs, I mean I kind of get it. Or maybe they are guilty and then it makes even more sense to pay, I’m just saying I can see them paying to avoid all of the hassle (and lawyer fees).
