- budududuroiu 3y agoIMO the most interesting part of this story is how after the docs were leaked on Github, the GH issues started getting filled with very questionable, 4chan style content. Unsure if that was intentional, in order to take down the repo for violating TOS, or just people being edgy like that. The repo is no longer available.
- roenxi 3y agoInteresting but ultimately not that important. I don't think anyone is surprised that the world's second best funded military have well developed digital infiltration techniques. Although given the inefficiencies in US production chains and the likelihood the Chinese aren't honest about their spending, this is a questionable "second" these days.
- yorwba 3y agoThe leak was not from the military, but a hacking-for-hire business, whose customers were mainly government agencies, but which also worked for some private companies, as well as running illegal porn sites on the side.

- roenxi 3y agoI dunno, your point being? A lot of the US military is embodied in contractors and technically external companies too. Maybe someone wants Taiwan road information for peaceful purposes for example, but realistically that is a pretty transparent building block for an eventual invasion. This is military capability.
