This is awesome, thanks! I just started learning C and am just beginning going through "The C programming language" so thanks for the advice! I definitely plan to improve the program, or feel free to submit a revision!
- leif 14y agoYou should also get in the habit of compiling with warnings (-Wall -Wextra -Werror) and running with valgrind. And writing test programs (in this case they could be shell scripts, unless you want to split your code into a library and an executable, so you can test the library with c programs. That lets you run your tests with valgrind.
