- SpaceNugget 3y agoThat's for federal income tax. In BC the top provincial income tax bracket is 20.5%, so a total 53.5%. I assume the person is also including property tax, EI, MSP premiums or other vaguely government related payments, or rounding up pretty generously to get to 60%.
