This can be a positive too, proactive dive & save to retain an employee who's manager feel they're about to leave isn't unheard of in my company. If you're good at your job and highly rated there should be obvious signs when they're trying to preemptively backfill you and at that point you can just communicate about how excited you are about your growth at the company or something to make them take a step back.
