Light Mode over Dark Mode
Dark mode in IDE and across the entire OS is oblivious nowadays. I get bullied sometimes that how can I be a real programmer if I do not use dark mode. Is it just me or there are other folks who prefer light mode?
- _jsdp 3y agoIt's not like someone else is gonna use your IDE to program. Do whatever you want dude
- enasterosophes 3y agoI remember about 15 years ago I found myself feeling weird because I wanted everything dark, and the consensus was that everything should be kept light. Sometime in the period 2010-2020 that swung around in the other direction. I don't remember exactly when, but I remember being surprised when more darkmode started coming into UI, in contradiction to the expectations I saw set earlier. Don't sweat it. You do you. There are fashions, but there are also middle fingers ;)
