I am uncertain, but this is likely to reintroduce the issue of Unicode buffer overflow into the mainstream. What are your proposed solutions, considering it is expected to become standardized?
- jph 3y agoUSV defaults to UTF-8, which prevents the issue of Unicode buffer overflow-- presuming you mean the typical kind where Unicode flows into ASCII. The primary USV library implementation uses Rust, which is notably good at UTF-8 and conversions between operating system string encodings (such as ASCII) and UTF-8,
