This is for TikTok EMPLOYEES. Not shareholders at large. Very misleading headline
- ribosometronome 3y agoThis is for TikTok shareholders who received shares by way of being an employee. They may or may not be employees anymore.
- mingus88 3y agoTheft of earned compensation is going to look great for their recruitment efforts
- Takennickname 3y agoPretty sure it's earned only if they fulfill their obligations. And I'm pretty sure not being negative about your employer on social media is somewhere in their contract. Not saying they're right, but this isn't "theft of earned compensation"
- EA-3167 3y agoAgain, they don't have to be current employees, and therefore may well not be under contract.
- Takennickname 3y agoWhatever. They literally signed a contract/shareholder agreement that says they can't do that. "muh freedumbs"
